A quick snapshot overview of the Toronto All-Star Big Band's Summer program for the year of 2023. 22 young musicians in Toronto rehearsed 20 hours/week and performed all over Ontario during the months of July and August (8 weeks).

TABB Summer 2022
The Toronto All-Star Big Band had the opportunity to lay down some big band tracks at Number 9 Audio Group Recording Studio, as part of a project with TABB alum Michael Melville. Final recordings are to be released soon, but we hope you enjoy this behind the scenes teaser! Michael is currently studying to Audio Engineering at the Trebas Institute. The recording project took place over several Thursday's in July in compliance with COVID restrictions. We are happy to be able to help Michael out with his studies, and give our band members the opportunity to record in a beautiful studio.

The Toronto All-Star Big Band played not one but TWO galas this past weekend! You might notice a few fresh faces in the band, what a fancy way to start off some first performances in TABB! Saturday the band played for Trinity Christian School 's anniversary gala, and Sunday the band played to mark the end of this year's Sine Film Festival. Not only does this band dress to impress, but they play swingin' good music for any event. Dancing is STRONGLY encouraged, and our vocalists will even show you how when they're not up on stage! If you were looking for a sign to book live music at your next event (or to check the band's schedule for where we play next), THIS IS IT.
